#8 NO!
NO... It is the shortest complete sentence, says English grammar. It is much more than just a word or a sentence. It can make you look like a devil. It can be a heart-breaker. It can even change your entire life. It can even be your savior. And it surely can be a very strict teacher.
When you really want something very badly and if you are denied it without much of a rationale, that is when 'No' being a complete sentence becomes utterly ironical. How can you be refused to have something that you truly love? And why??? But, in my opinion, you should be faced with such situations sometimes in life, better if it is during the early learning days of your life. One must learn to hear 'No'. It may seem unfair then, but so be it! The world is not very fair either. You may not be able to forget it for many years, but then it will also teach you that the world is not a wish-granting factory. And one has to accept it. The more wholeheartedly one embraces it, the more happy he is.
The other side of the story is equally difficult when one has to be on the giver side. Sometimes, saying 'No' is equally heart-wrenching as receiving it. There are situations when you have to be the bad guy, you have to break hearts, it is not always possible to please people around you. Sometimes it is better to be a villain today for everyone concerned to have a better tomorrow. They may not understand today, they will surely be grateful to you someday in the future. One has to learn to say 'No' dil pe pathar rakhke if it is for a good cause, or if it is because you simply can't say 'Yes' as it is out of your reach to fulfill that 'Yes', even though some people may not be able to put themselves in your shoes and think that you are just giving excuses to not say 'Yes'. If people don't understand your point even in the future, let it be. You did what you had to do. Don't Regret!
Be Strong! You will always be compensated for your losses somehow someday!
